How to Get Fenty: Rihanna's Luxury Fashion Line Is Now Available For Shopping

The multi-talented Rihanna has officially opened the doors—well, browsers—of her highly-anticipated luxury fashion brand, Fenty. The clothing line launched its global digital flagship online on Wednesday, following the opening of a successful pop-up shop in Paris on May 24.

Rihanna announced her partnership with Parisian luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy—otherwise known as LVMH—earlier this month. Fenty is the first new fashion house to partner with LVMH since Christian Lacroix debuted in 1987, and Rihanna is also the first black woman to ever launch a luxury goods brand with the company. The singer and businesswoman is also the youngest person to helm a Maison with the company.

Fenty's first collection, Release 5-19, launched with a visual homage to photographer Kwame Brathewaite. The drop includes a number of ready-to-wear items that play up Rihanna's love of mixing masculine and feminine designs with items like constructed oversized jackets, corset-dresses and jeans tailored with Japanese denim. Sleek footwear and statement eyewear pieces are also available for purchase in addition to fashion jewelry and baseball caps.

As a luxury fashion brand, shoppers should be prepared to spend as much as they would with any other label under the LVMH umbrella.

While baseball caps are priced on the lower end at $180, Fenty sunglasses range from $420 to $480. Shoes, like the 115-millimeter stiletto The Affair Pumps, cost $625, while other footwear items like the Spiraling Sandal and the Dolly Sandal range from $625 to $670, depending on the style and heel height. Ready-to-wear clothing can cost anywhere from $250 for a Corset T-Shirt to $1,360 for a Reversible Parka. Items are available for purchase on the Fenty website.

All of the items, designed by a team of black and brown designers hand-picked by Rihanna, are reminiscent of the 31-year-old's attitude, ethos and spirit.

"I use myself as the muse," Rihanna said of the label's inspiration during an interview with T: The New York Times Style Magazine in early May. "It's sweatpants with pearls, or a masculine denim jacket with a corset. I feel like we live in a world where people are embracing every bit of who they are. Look at Jaden Smith, Childish Gambino. They dare you to tell them not to."

Fenty is just the latest attribution to Rihanna's growing empire. She additionally owns Fenty Beauty, her makeup collection also under the LVMH beauty umbrella, and Savage X Fenty, a lingerie and intimates brand.
