Rocket League joined Fortnite this month with full cross-platform support for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC gamers. That isn't the only big update coming to the automobile soccer game, with developer Psyonix announcing new details on the major updates planned over the next few months.

February sees the conclusion of competitive season 9 and the start of season 10, and rewards for the season will also be delivered next month. We'll detail the season 9 rewards later.
For those looking forward to RocketID, the cross-platform party service has been renamed. Simply referred to as Friends List, this feature allows players on Xbox One to team up with someone on PS4 or a PC gamer to team up with someone on Switch. Cross-play right now in Rocket League is random, but Friends List gives players the power to play with whoever they want.
There are a handful of smaller updates in February as well. There will be a new Crate, new music to jam to and a new in-game event. Details on the Crate contents, what the event is and more haven't been revealed yet.
Psyonix has teased what to expect for March, although there isn't much right now. Rocket Pass 2 will end in March, so expect rewards to arrive in March as well. There will also be a new licensed DLC pack, so expect something similar to the Batmobile or the Back to the Future DeLorean. This is a total guess, but it would be cool to see the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine in Rocket League. Just saying.
