The statement announcing the residency says performances will feature high fashion, comedy, dancing, twists and turns and will create an atmosphere which encourages audience participation.

The show will be directed by RuPaul and choreographer Jamal Sims (Broadway's Aladdin, Step Up, When The Beat Drops) and produced by World of Wonder and Voss Events. The production will feature music from the past 11 seasons of Drag Race in addition to original music by RuPaul, Drag Race composer Leland and Tom Campbell, Chief Creative Officer at World of Wonder.

Tickets start at $49. Presale tickets go on sale September 10 and then for the general public on Friday, September 13. Performances will run at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Las Vegas show adds yet another exciting event to the Drag Race brand. In addition to the Vegas show, there's the launch of RuPaul's Drag Race U.K. starting October 3, Season 5 of All-Stars coming later this year and Season 12 of Drag Race starting next year.

In addition to Drag Race, RuPaul's new comedy series AJ and the Queen, about an unlikely friendship between a down-on-her-luck drag queen and an 11-year-old stowaway, will premiere on Netflix later this year.
