Russian Teacher Reportedly Fired Over NSFW Instagram Post

A Russian school teacher was recently fired after posting a risqué video to social media, according to multiple reports.

In the video, the teacher—23-year-old Viktoria Kashirina—could be seen "stripping down to lingerie and touching herself while writhing on a bed and humping the floor," described the New York Post. She originally posted the video to her Instagram page; however, her profile has since been deleted.

When a student's mother discovered the video, she sent Kashirina an angry message.

"Please do not post such explicit videos, or close [your social media]," the mother wrote according to the Australian news site News.com.au. "My daughter watches this and you are clearly gaining kudos—but not as a teacher."

Instead of shutting down her page, Kashirina opted to block the mother and her student from viewing her profile, but it was "too late." A complaint had already been filed with the school's administration.

"[Y]our provocative content has already spread virally among students and their parents. The storm has already risen, and we need to react somehow," a school director allegedly told Kashirina, said Russian news site Komsomolskaya Pravda.

"I myself have two children, I understand these parents very well. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression, but now you, in the manifestation of your freedom, stepped on our freedom," the director continued.

"If you want to prove yourself, we have the right not to follow this path. You are fired."

Kashirina isn't the first teacher to be fired as a result of her social media presence.

In 2019, Central Florida school teacher Todd Erdman was terminated from his position after several of his "lewd" TikTok videos were seen by students, said ClickOrlando.

"The videos included one of Erdman cursing and joking as he drank a beer in the morning, saying he needed alcohol because of the 'idiots' he worked with. Others showed a candlelit bathtub, where he made or lip-synced crude sexual comments," reported the station.

Earlier this year, North Carolina history teacher Amy Krupps was suspended from her position after the school's administration found her OnlyFans account, reported Fox News. Embarrassed, she subsequently resigned from the position

Though the school director allegedly told Kashirina she was fired, The Post stated that she has yet to receive "further notice." So, she is still teaching.

However, multiple reports have stated that if the school does follow through on the firing, Kashirina is determined to go to court.

"The dismissal is absolutely unfair because there is nothing ... to contradict the rules of my employment contract. And immoral behavior is generally a very abstract concept," she said in a statement obtained by The Post.
