Why the house was used for TV

While the front of the building was used to imply it was Sabrina the Teenage Witch's house, all of the interior shots were filmed on a stage elsewhere.

At the time it was used for the show, it was owned by Scott Beskin who ran a law firm from the building. He told the Asbury Park Press that one day a location scout for Sabrina stopped by and asked if they could take a picture of the building to use in a television show. Beskin said: "I just thought it was flattering that someone liked the looks of my Victorian building as much as I did."

The paper reports that in 2014 it was bought by Three Buddies LLC who renovated it with the hopes of selling it as an office. In the '90s the house was white on the outside but now appears to have been painted a more neutral yellow color.

There are nods to the pop culture reference nearby the building as next door to "Sabrina's house" there's a photography studio called Magical Encounters.
