Samantha Bee Says 'Jesus Loves Me and Hates Fox News' on Christmas Special

Late Night television show host Samantha Bee took a snub at Fox News during her Christmas special on Wednesday night, claiming that "Jesus loves me and hates Fox News."

During the Full Frontal With Samantha Bee Presents Christmas On I.C.E. show, Bee dedicated the special to immigrant families and the families who are still separated from their children. The holiday special also doubled as a fundraiser for the organization Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to help unite immigrant families.

"The reason I'm here doing a Christmas special tonight with a bunch of tasteless ICE puns locked and loaded is that this is a tremendously difficult time to be an immigrant in America," Bee explained during the beginning of her show.

The entire show was a mix of discussion of immigration policy and Christmas fun. The show started off with a song about how this year was terrible and slammed President Donald Trump.

"Christmas is special. It is the most terrible season of the year. The news cycle slows to 11th gear," Bee sang.

A child dressed as an angel mocked Trump by sharing the story of Christmas, claiming that if Trump was in power he would have put Mary in jail.

"The angel said unto them behold I bring you tidings of great joy because unto you is born in the city of David a Savior Christ the Lord," the child said. "It is a good thing he was born in the city of David and not Donald because Trump would have probably said 'Savior of mankind?' more like a loser and put him and Mary in jail."

We agree, adorable angel child, FORGET 2018!!!! #ChristmasOnICE

During the show, figure skater Adam Rippon and Bee also sat down to discuss how Americans can help immigrants and to legally help them deal with I.C.E. The host also visited the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, which holds 1,800 immigrants. With the help of TBS, Bee purchased a new house for attorneys and families to use when lawyers visit detainees.

"There is a fully reconditioned kitchen to feed all those pro bono lawyers, a dining room that seats 20 to fight our Draconian immigration policies," Bee said.

At the end of her show, Bee made a quip toward conservative news station Fox News while making a speech on being kind toward immigrants and their families.

"You know, in a lot of Christmas specials this would be the time that I found the true meaning of Christmas," Bee said at the end of the show "But I already know it. On Christmas, we celebrate the birth of man whose message was one of radical kindness. A man who said, 'Whatever you do for the least of these you do for me.' If you're not doing your best to show compassion for the poor, the weak, the sick and, yes, the immigrants, then you are doing Christmas wrong! I don't care what the hell is on your Starbucks cup. Anyway, Jesus loves me and he hates Fox News. Bye!"

Earlier this year, the TBS talk show host called President Trump's eldest daughter a feckless c*** during on her show.
