Samantha Marie Ware Isn't the First 'Glee' Cast Member to Call Out Lea Michele—These Are the Others

On Monday, actress Samantha Marie Ware tweeted that her former Glee co-star Lea Michele made her time on the show a "living hell." Ware's tweet is not the first time Michele's fellow cast members have spoken out against her.

Quote tweeting Michele's support of the Black Lives Matter movement, Ware laid into the actress with an all caps call out about her time on the show.

Ware wrote about a specific comment that Michele had allegedly told other cast members and the lasting effects that their time together on Glee had on her. "LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU [sic] HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD "S**T IN MY WIG," she wrote. "AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS [sic] THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD..."

Other actors who had been in the show rallied around Ware's tweet and also called out Michele for unkind behavior. Alex Newell, who appeared in 39 episodes of Glee as Unique Adams from 2012 to 2015, showed support for Ware's tweets saying the caps "felt like claps" in a response to Community actress Yvette Nicole Brown's tweet that she "felt every one of those capital letters." Newell also shared a gif, seemingly showing more support. Dabier, who appeared in one episode of Glee, said that Michele wouldn't let him sit at a table with the rest of the cast. "GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE 'I DIDNT BELONG THERE' F**K YOU LEA," Dabier wrote. Ru Paul's Drag Race alum William Belli also said that he left the Glee set, because Michele "treated [him] so subhuman."

Ware's tweet was not the first time that a former Glee cast member has spoken about having problems with Michele.

2015—Ryan Murphy Says That He's Still Close With Michele

2016—Naya Rivera Opens Up About Not Talking to Michele during Glee Season 6

Naya Rivera wrote in her memoir that two's friendship broke down to the point where they didn't speak during Season 6, according to E News.
