Steven Spielberg's stepdaughter, Jessica Capshaw, said she has been cut out of many of his films.

The Oscar-winning director, 78, is married to Capshaw's mother, actress Kate Capshaw. The couple tied the knot in 1991 and together have a large blended family. Spielberg became a father for the first time in 1985 with the birth of his son, Max, whom he shares with ex-wife Amy Irving. When he wed Kate Capshaw, he became a dad to her children: Jessica and Theo. The pair then went on to have four children together—Sasha, Sawyer, Mikaela and Destry.

Grey's Anatomy alum Jessica Capshaw co-hosts the Call It What It Is podcast with her former Grey's co-star, Camilla Luddington, and during Saturday's episode, she revealed that Spielberg doesn't play favorites when it comes to his work.

"You have no idea how many Spielberg movies I've been cut out of," Jessica Capshaw said.

Newsweek reached out to Spielberg's representative via email for comment.

"No way!" Luddington replied. "Wait, let's just sidebar for a second. Name one other Spielberg movie that you've been cut out of."

"I was cut out of Schindler's List," Jessica Capshaw said, before a surprised Luddington asked, "You were in Schindler's List?"

"Well, no," the 48-year-old laughed.

Jessica Capshaw explained that while Spielberg was making the 1993 film, her parents uprooted the family to Kraków, Poland. The then-high school student was homeschooled during their stint in the country, and while they were there, she "also worked on the movie."

The Holidate star said she was an extra in a party scene in the film and recalled putting on a "beautiful dress." She told Luddington, 41, she thought she stood a good chance at making it to the final version, but "that would be a negative."

"On the cutting room floor," Jessica Capshaw said. "Not there."

The Missouri native added that she and former Grey's Anatomy star Sandra Oh were cast as "background" characters in Spielberg's A.I. Artificial Intelligence, but she was dropped from that, too.

Oh later admitted to Jessica Capshaw that she stuck closely to her on set because she "figured we're not getting cut out," which "made me laugh really hard" because "I fully got cut out," Jessica Capshaw said.

Luddington asked if her stepdad ever watches her work and then gives her "acting tips," but The Practice star quickly shot that down.

"That would truly be, like just you saying those words out loud, makes my whole body... no it would be my worst nightmare," she said.

"Every once in a while I will send—if I'm proud of a tape I've done—I'll send it to him, and he's just the best at giving... it's not even feedback. I think that's what it is, that I'm not asking for feedback, it's just he's so great at being like, 'That was amazing!' and does it full force. He's just, you know, he's on the sidelines clapping."
