Parker and her husband also share twin daughters Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, who were born in June 2009, and they welcomed via a surrogate.
The actor went through secondary infertility, and of deciding to use a surrogate she told Access Hollywood: "We've been trying to expand our family for a number of years and we actually have explored a variety of ways of doing so.
"[Surrogacy] was one of the things we discussed with seriousness that had real possibilities for us."
At the time they welcomed their twins the couple shared a statement, in which People reported they said their daughters' names were "family names on Parker's side."
In 2019, Parker spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her family life, admitting she wasn't ready for her eldest to leave the nest and go to college.

The Divorce actor went on to reflect on what she hoped she could teach her three children, saying: "What I want to tell them is curiosity is the gateway to all sorts of things you might never have imagined.
"And success is not the destination point for me and I don't want them to focus on success because I think it's come to me too much."
Parker has also previously spoken about her desire to highlight the importance of hard work with her children, and has said she wants them to "work for something."
In an interview with Australia's KIIS FM, she said she tells her kids: "I will do my best to make sure you always have what you need, but I want you pining towards something. I want you to work for something, to dream of it, to will it to happen."
