Sarah Palin calls Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 'Creepy,' Says Liberals Obsessed With Sex
Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin dubbed Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) "creepy" for her recent comments aimed at Republicans.
While speaking to Rachel Campos-Duffy on Fox News Primetime show on Monday, Palin argued Ocasio-Cortez appeared to have an obsession with sex.
Palin was asked what would have happened if she responded to political rivals criticizing her by claiming they were sexually frustrated.
Palin said: "Isn't that something, that is pretty creepy, junior high-ish.
"It amazes me though, [Ocasio-Cortez] and other liberals, socialists even, their ability to deflect from what the issues truly are.
"Here her obsession, at least her suggestion, always gender and sex, I truly believe there are enough Americans who get it and understand what her tactic is. That is to deflect from what the real issues are.
"Okay, take this issue with her suggestion of dating and attraction to someone and blaming her failures on that, that obsession with sex.
"Look how the liberals want to pound that into the public's head, advertising who is attracted to who, what people do in the privacy of their own bedroom, all the things that have to do with privacy and sex, the liberals, not the conservatives, are the ones who pound, pound, pound after that.
"Obviously it is a tactic so that she doesn't have to be held accountable, it sounds like she hasn't been held accountable for much maybe her entire life.
"She doesn't have that foundation of accountability and that public service heart that is so necessary in order to serve well and be accountable."
This follows on from Ocasio-Cortez's response to criticism she received after dining in Miami with her boyfriend in December. Critics accused the representative of hypocrisy for dining maskless. She has since faced further ridicule after announcing that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Ocasio-Cortez responded to the criticism she was receiving for dining in Miami and suggested those that were critical of her were sexually frustrated they could not date her.
Former Donald Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes challenged Ocasio-Cortez for dining without a mask.
He tweeted a picture of Ocasio-Cortez and her boyfriend out in Miami and captioned it: "1) If Leftists like AOC actually thought mandates and masking worked, they wouldn't be frolicking in free FL.
2)Her guy is showing his gross pale male feet in public (not at a pool/beach) with hideous sandals. 0 for 2."

Ocasio-Cortez addressed Cortes' comments and said: "If Republicans are mad they can't date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend's feet."
She later added: "It's starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, & LGBT+ people in general.
"These people clearly need therapy, won't do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It's really weird."
