Is 'SNL' on Tonight? Watch Harry Styles Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Harry Styles is bringing the magic of fall to Saturday Night Live. The English singer will serve as the host of SNL for the first time on Saturday.

The upcoming installment of the NBC sketch comedy show may be Styles' first time taking over as host, but it certainly isn't his first appearance. Styles formerly performed on SNL during an episode hosted by show alum Jimmy Fallon back when his debut solo album dropped in 2017. The very first time he ever appeared on the SNL was back in 2012 with his former boy band One Direction.

The group hit the SNL stage two more times—in 2013 and 2014—before they disbanded in 2015.

Wearing warm fall colors and wide-legged pants, Styles was thrilled to make his hosting debut on SNL in the episode promo alongside longtime cast member Kenan Thompson. "I'm very very excited to be back at SNL. I'm gonna be some characters. I'm gonna sing. I'm pretty much down for anything," Styles said in the clip just before the duo decided to relish in the essence of fall by frolicking in a pile of leaves right in the SNL studio.

Their joy was cut short when a janitor barged in the room with a leaf-blower and threatened to call security on the pair. Here's to hoping there'll be more montages of Styles and Thompson enjoying the best of the season when the singer officially hosts the show.

Who is performing?

The 25-year-old singer is serving double duty on SNL this week, which means he'll not only host the show but he'll perform too. The performance comes following the release of Styles' latest single, "Lights Up," from his forthcoming album Fine Line, which is set to drop in December. His second studio album as a solo artist, Styles, who appeared on Rolling Stone's September cover, told the music magazine the project would be "all about having sex and feeling sad."

When does SNL air?

While it's unclear if Styles will be delivering the opening monologue this week, the show is still set to kick off on NBC at SNL's usual Saturday night time slot of 11:30 p.m. ET.

Can it be live-streamed?

SNL and Styles fans can tune into the show via live stream on any smart device via NBC's website as well as the NBC app. A cable provider login is necessary to access the stream, though. Viewers with Hulu can watch the show in real-time through the Live TV service, but as for standard subscribers, they'll have to wait for the show to air to catch it on Hulu on-demand. Highlights and clips of some of the best skits and sketches of the night will also be available on SNL's YouTube shortly after the show ends. Fans can keep up with all the SNL banter by following the hashtag #SNL.
