'Sekiro' Release Time: Does It Unlock At Midnight For Steam, PS4 and Xbox?

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice developers FromSoftware announced the March 22 release date back in August 2018. Stores in Germany are already breaking the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice release date, but chances are you'll have to wait until at least midnight on the actual release date, or close to it.

From the creators of Bloodborne and Dark Souls, in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice you play as a one-armed shinobi with the eyes of starving wolf. He comes to be known as Sekiro as he fights to protect a young lord from a mysterious and magically powerful bloodline. Like previous games from developer FromSoftware, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is deviously difficult.

Set in the late 1500s, in a period of Japanese history riven with conflict between powerful feudal warlords, or daimyō, Sekiro is a combination of realistic samurai swordfighting and supernatural threats, ranging from giant animals to ancient spirits and terrifying oni.

Precision fighting is essential to the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice experience, as you block and strike in an attempt to break opponents' Posture and deliver a final Deathblow, spraying blood everywhere.
