Who Is the Husband of Christine Quinn From 'Selling Sunset' and How Much Money Has He Made?

Christine Quinn may have been having and raising a baby for most of Selling Sunset Season 4, but that has not stopped her being the center of much of the drama of the Netflix reality series.

Christine Quinn first appears in the first episode of Season 4, where she and her chair bag are looking for an even bigger house than the $5 million, five-bedroom home she already has with her husband.

That husband has appeared in a few episodes of Selling Sunset, most notably when he and Christine got married at the end of Season 3. However, he has always been a background character on the show—in fact, he does not even use his real name in the series.

However, through his real estate purchases and past dealings, we do have some details about exactly who the man the Netflix show calls "Christian Richard" is.

Who Is Christine Quinn's Husband?

Christine Quinn is married to Christian Dumontet, a 42-year-old tech CEO.

Dumontet first made his money by selling his first company. According to the Boston Globe, that company was Foodler, a Boston-based food delivery company founded in 2005 that allowed people to order meals from restaurants. The company was an early innovator in the cryptocurrency space as the first food delivery website to accept Bitcoin as a payment.

In 2017, the company was bought by fellow food delivery service GrubHub. At the time, the company said that Foodler was working with over 50,000 restaurants and had nearly 9 million active users.

What we do not know is how much money Dumontet made from this acquisition. GrubHub bought the company in a cash transaction, and has never revealed how much it paid for the company. GrubHub did say, however, that the acquisition would provide $80 million of annual business.

Per LinkedIn, he worked as a software engineer for Cisco between 2001 and 2007. Per an interview between Christine Quinn and Women's Health, she said her husband retired from work in 2017 after that acquisition.

In a Bustle interview, Quinn revealed she met her husband through a friend who was dating him. Realizing she was not the woman for him, she passed him on to Christine. They were married within a year of their first meeting.

She said of her husband: "He's the opposite of me in every way, because I love to put myself out there. I love to be fabulous. He doesn't care about dressing up or looking good. He doesn't care about any of that stuff. He only cares about his work and traveling, which I care about as well."

What Is Christine Quinn's Husband's Net Worth?

Numerous outlets have reported that Dumontet has a net worth of $20 million, though that has not been confirmed by the couple. The Women's Health interview with Christine simply calls him a "millionaire."

What we do know, however, is that in January 2019, he purchased the house formerly owned by Crystal Hefner, the widow of the late Playboy creator Hugh Hefner. The tech CEO paid $5 million for the property.

And who was his realtor for the house? Per the LA Times, that was Christine Quinn, meaning that not only did she get the man, but she also got a big commission from the sale.
