1. 66 Perry Street

Carrie Bradshaw's official home – where we'd get to see her step out of a yellow taxi and up the stairs to her lavish too-big-to-be-possibly-true apartment – was technically on the Upper East Side, but the actual brownstone townhouse is on Perry Street in the West Village. It's easy to spot because there's perpetual gaggle of "Sex and the City" fans posing for photos in front of it.

2. Jefferson Market Garden

This leafy garden in the shadow of the neo-Gothic building is the spot where Miranda and Steve tied the proverbial knot in season 6. The garden sits on a spot that was once a women's prison that even housed Mae West at one time. Today it's a place for locals to seek refuge from the bustle of the Big Apple.

3. Magnolia Bakery

Anchored on the corner of Bleecker and W. 11th Streets, Magnolia's fame can be traced to the 30-second scene of Carrie and Miranda picking at their cupcakes in front of the shop. Ever since then there has been a perpetual line snaking around the corner for the bakeries now-famed cupcakes.

4. The Pleasure Chest

Remember the legendary episode in which Charlotte acquires The Rabbit, that orgasm-inducing vibrator? She bought it here at this Seventh Avenue sex shop. And then she liked it so much she began staying in a lot of evenings. Today almost daily busses pull up here so Sex and the City tourists can venture in to gawk at the shop's stock of Rabbits and other pleasure-giving devices.

5. SoHo House

Naturally, uber-scene-y SoHo House had to be featured in Sex and the City. In the episode, Samantha yearns to see-and-be-scene at the rooftop pool but can't get into the exclusive club. So she steals a member's card. When the staff finally figures she's not Annabelle Bronstein (who is British), she gets the boot. Yes, not even Samantha Jones is not cool enough for SoHo House.

6. Trapeze School New York

In season 6 of SatC, Carrie takes a trapeze lesson here and she learns a valuable lesson in the process: the importance of a safety net. Aside from Carrie's big lesson, the trapeze school is a fun place to watch would-be daredevils soar through the air next to the Hudson River.
