Who stars in And Just Like That...?
The entire main cast has returned for the Sex and the City reboot, minus Kim Cattrall as publicist Samantha Jones.
This means fans will get to see Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon reprise their roles as Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York Goldenblatt, and Miranda Hobbes respectively. However, this time around audiences will not be following the three best friends in their 30s, today they are in their late 50s.
Also reprising their roles in And Just Like That... are Julie Halston as Bitsy von Muffling, Chris Noth as Mr. Big, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, and Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt.
The late Willie Garson will also hopefully star in the reboot as Stanford Blatch, Carrie's best friend. Sadly, Garson died from pancreatic cancer at his home in Los Angeles on September 21, at age 57. He was spotted filming for the series shortly before his death.
There are some new faces in the cast of And Just Like That...
Chicago P.D.'s Nicole Ari Parker will take on the role of Lisa Todd Wexley, a documentarian, and mother of three.
There has been a lot of speculation amongst fans that Ari Parker's character Lisa is the "new Samantha" who befriends Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda. The speculation has been fueled in recent weeks, especially after Sarah Jessica Parker shared numerous photos of her, Davis, Nixon, and Ari Parker on the set. Thankfully, there is not too long to go to find exactly what Lisa will bring to their friendship.
Also joining the cast is Sara Ramírez as Che Diaz, a non-binary, queer, stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast that often features Carrie as a guest.
Alexa Swinton and Cathy Ang star as Lily and Rose Goldenblatt respectively, alongside Niall Cunningham as Brady Hobbes.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Leroy McClain will play a new character, Leroy McClain, whose connection to the trio is unknown—for now.
And Just Like That... premieres Thursday, December 9 on HBO Max.
