When is Shark Week 2020? Host, Discovery Channel Schedule and What to Watch
We're gonna need a bigger... screen. It's almost that time of year again as Shark Week 2020 is set to return to televisions with a jam-packed schedule for viewers to sink their teeth into.
This year's event promises more than 20 hours of jaw-dropping shark programming throughout the week.
The Discovery Channel pop culture phenomenon will transport audiences to oceans around the world revealing phenomenal insights into the mysterious world of the terrifying and magnificent creatures.

When is Shark Week 2020?
Shark Week 2020 kicks off Sunday, August 9, and continues through Sunday, August 16 on the Discovery Channel.
According to Discovery Channel bosses: "Discovery Channel continues to work with nearly two dozen of the world's most respected marine biologists and science institutions to bring brand-new, innovative shark research technology and compelling insight on some of the most unique shark species in the world. SHARK WEEK 2020 will take viewers to New Zealand, Australia and South Africa to see how the global lockdown and reduced amount of human activity on the seas has given sharks the opportunity to reclaim the oceans."
Who is hosting Shark Week 2020?
No host has been confirmed yet but the epic lineup will feature specials starring Will Smith, Mike Tyson, Shaquille O'Neal, Snoop Dogg, and Adam Devine.
Previous year's hosts have included Eli Roth and Rob Riggle.

Air Jaws: Ultimate Breach Off – Sunday, August 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
