'Speed Brawl' Combines Side-Scrolling Combat and Racing for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC
Speed Brawl is a mash-up of different genres, blending side-scrolling combat, racing and fighting games. Set in a dystopian version of Victorian London, Speed Brawl will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this summer.

"Speed Brawl was inspired in part by the over-the-top action, violence, and dark humor of movies like Rollerball, The Hunger Games and Starship Troopers," said Daniel Menard, producer at developer Double Stallion. "We always knew we wanted to make a physics-and-fisticuffs experience that would feel like Thundercats or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, about a team of people who go through an extraordinary challenge and realize that fighting as a team is better than fighting alone."
Speed Brawl features six unique characters and more than 50 events and races to battle through. Players must destroy all the enemies in their way, while also maintaining momentum and managing energy to unleash devastating super moves. Players can go through the campaign solo or tackle challenges with a friend both locally and online.

"Speed Brawl's fresh take on the action platformer keeps evolving and surprising throughout the course of the game's campaign," said Kevin DuPuy, director of production at publisher Kongregate. "Double Stallion has fine-tuned the gameplay to let players be in a constant state of flow, bringing a depth and variety to the combat that allows players to really dig in and define their own unique playstyle. All of this comes together in a stylish and striking package, making it an absolute blast to pick up and play."
Speed Brawl will be available on Steam and Kongregate's new platform Kartridge. The game will also be available on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. No release date has been confirmed yet, but a summer release is planned.
