Antonio Conte's Chelsea may be flying high at the top of the Premier League, five points clear of its nearest competitor, Liverpool, but the Italian will not rest on this cushion.

With the January transfer window open, Conte is looking at reinforcements to bring in to strengthen his squad.

Nathan Ake, who was on loan at Bournemouth, has been recalled and now, according to The Times, Conte is keen to sign two other defensive figures.

West Ham's Michail Antonio, who has proved versatile, playing in defense, midfield and attack, is one player on the Chelsea manager's radar.

Antonio is seen by Conte as a potential right wing-back, having brought in his 3-4-3 formation at Stamford Bridge this season.

On the left side, Cologne's Jonas Hector, who is a first-choice for the German national team is top of the Italian's list of targets.

The transfer window closes on January 31.
