Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk and Celtic striker Moussa Dembele are at the top of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte's transfer wishlist for the summer, according to reports.

Conte's team is nine points clear at the top of the Premier League, with 15 games remaining of the season.

The Italian reportedly put in a last-minute bid for former Fulham forward Dembele on January 31, deadline day for the winter transfer window, but now has to look to bring him back to west London in the summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Van Dijk, who has been sidelined for Southampton with an injury, is a key defensive target for Conte, while the Italian is also aware he may need a replacement for Diego Costa.

The Spaniard, Chelsea's top scorer this season, has been linked with a move away from the club, with the Chinese Super League targeting Costa throughout January.

Dembele's goals in Scotland — he has 20 this season in 38 appearances — has brought interest from England's national side.

Chelsea will be looking at a fee of around £40 million ($50 million) to sign the 20-year-old.
