Antonio Conte's search to bring another striker to Chelsea this summer may see the Italian turn to Paris Saint Germain's Edinson Cavani.

Conte, who arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer as Jose Mourinho's permanent successor, has already signed forward Michy Batshuayi for a fee believed to be around £33 million ($43 million).

But the former Italy boss is believed to want to bring in more support for Diego Costa, the Spanish striker who has been Chelsea's leading man for the past two years.

Conte is reported to be keen on Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, but Real Madrid is valuing the 23-year-old as higher than the £62 million ($81 million) Chelsea offered.

Reports from France suggest the Italian may turn to Argentine striker Edinson Cavani, 29, who is expected to cost the west London club around €50 million (£42 million, $55 million).

Chelsea is currently on its pre-season tour of Austria before the new Premier League season begins on August 13.
