Real Madrid is preparing a new deal for Cristiano Ronaldo that would keep the star striker at the club until 2020, reports say.

After Gareth Bale signed a new contract, believed to contain a release clause of $1 billion, the Spanish giant is preparing deals for a handful of high-profile players at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo will be joined by Pepe, Isco and Dani Carvajal in being handed extensions in the capital, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.

The former Manchester United forward currently has a deal to keep him at Real until 2018, but the club is looking to show its faith in the 31-year-old by adding two more years.

Ronaldo is expected to agree to the extension as he has already signaled his intention to remain at the club for another 10 years, seeing him reach 41 years of age.

On Wednesday, Ronaldo is expected to line up in Zinedine Zidane's team in Poland as Real faces Legia Warsaw in group F of the Champions League.
