He has had offers from Aston Villa and Birmingham. The Sun says that Steve Bruce's Villa is leading the race for Terry, a former England captain.

Premier League champion Chelsea is close to making its first major signing of the summer, according to the Daily Mail. Antonio Conte's team has been pursuing Monaco's 22-year-old midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko throughout the summer, and a £35 million offer could wrap up the deal.

That deal would also pave the way for Jose Mourinho to sign midfielder Nemanja Matic to Manchester United from Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail.

But the Manchester Evening News says Bayern has told potential suitors that they can forget the prospect of signing the prolific striker this summer.

Leicester City, the 2016 Premier League champion, is planning a £25 million offer for 20-year-old Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho, according to The Daily Telegraph. Juventus full-back Alex Sandro will need to ask to leave the Italian club if he is to move to Chelsea this summer, the Daily Mail says. The 26-year-old has been linked with a £45 million move to Stamford Bridge.
