Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has suggested his club would be interested in signing Manchester United target Kylian Mbappé.

The 18-year-old forward Mbappé is currently playing in the south of France for Monaco, as a crucial role in taking the club to the quarterfinal of the Champions League.

According to The Independent, the Frenchman is among the targets José Mourinho's Manchester United is considering if it cannot lure Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid in the summer.

But Pérez has now suggested Spanish giant Real Madrid would be keen on bringing the young striker to the Santiago Bernabéu.

"A Mbappé-[Karim] Benzema striker partnership? Anything is possible," Pérez said, as quoted by Spanish newspaper Marca.

"I only talk about Real Madrid players, but he [Mbappé] is very good, although right now the focus for Real Madrid is the Champions League and La Liga."

Real faces Bayern Munich in the next round of the European competition, with the first leg to be played on Wednesday, April 12, while Monaco has been drawn against Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappé was developed through the Monaco academy before making his debut in 2015, but his performances this season have drawn comparisons to France icon Thierry Henry.
