Paris Saint-Germain will test the resolve of Everton in January when the French giants attempt to lure Romelu Lukaku to Parc des Princes, according to reports.

The Belgian striker was the subject of interest from Antonio Conte's Chelsea in the summer, but now the Blues are joined by PSG in wanting Lukaku.

According to the Daily Mirror, the French champions are big fans of the Belgium striker and want him to bolster the team's attack.

Lukaku's seven goals in eight games for the Merseysiders have caught the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs.

But the striker says he has no knowledge of any official offers for him. "[My agent] never tells me anything," he said.

"As long as there is nothing, black and white and on paper, he will not bother me with it and I respect that. That is his way of working. I know they [interested clubs] are there though."

In the past, Lukaku has also expressed his desire to play in the Champions League, Europe's most prestigious club competition.

Everton's 11th place finish in last season's Premier League saw it fall well short of qualifying—but PSG reached the quarter-finals last season and is competing in group A this year.
