Paris Saint-Germain may be on the verge of equaling Paul Pogba's world-record £89 million ($108 million) move to Manchester United as the French giants chase Antoine Griezmann.

The French striker, who currently spearheads the Atletico Madrid attack, has continued his fine form from last season that took his club to the Champions League final and country to the Euro 2016 final.

According to French newspaper Sport, PSG is willing to match the record sum United paid for Pogba this summer to secure Griezmann's services.

Jose Mourinho was also believed to have been interested in the 25-year-old striker, reuniting him with countryman Pogba in the first-team at Old Trafford.

Griezmann, however, signed a new deal at Atletico this summer that would mean any potential suitors would need to pay the £89 million release clause in his contract.
