Not only has she made an impact in the world of athletics, but she's also become a pop culture icon, with the songs Liu performed at the Olympics rising to the top of the charts nationally and globally.

If the 20-year-old gold medalist performs to your song, it's not only an honor but a boon to your career at this point.
Liu only returned to professional figure skating after telling her coaches that she could choose the music she performed to, and now she's leading the skating culture with her choices.
On Bravo's television show "Watch What Happens Live!" Liu was asked about the next five songs she wants to construct a figure skating routine around.
Her five choices were:
- "Fire in My Heart" by Escape From New York
- "Chihiro" by Billie Eilish
- "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
- "Star" by Mitski
- "Capable of Love" by PinkPantheress
Liu's next competition will be in a few weeks in Prague, Czechia, where she will attempt to defend her women's title at the Figure Skating World Championships.
Although she isn't expected to debut any new songs at the season-ending event, the upcoming offseason could see her use any of the five songs she picked as one of her new backtracks for a short program or free skate heading into the summer and fall of 2026.
