The Golden State Valkyries won their first WNBA Championship in just two years so they had every right to go insane during their victory parade on Wednesday.

And insane they did go.

We witnessed the team starting the celebration in Oakland before ferrying across the bay to San Francisco, head coach Natalie Nakase hype up the crowd both on the road and during speech time, Tiffany Hayes nabbing a mic and partying with the crowd, mini dance parties, Nakase cussing up a storm and so much more.

And yes, there was shade tossed at the Atlanta Dream – specifically Dream superstar Angel Reese.

The Valks beat the Dream 68-63 during an intense, and hard-fought Game 7 of the Finals and while Atlanta battled like mad through the series, the Valkyries still had to poke fun at their star during the celebration.

The team handed out tiny pink pacifiers with a piece of paper with a photo of the famous crying Michael Jordan face over the picture of Reese making her “too small” gesture at the Valkyries (regarding her quote about calling the Valks too small to win a ship.) Along with the photo, were the words, “If found, return to ATL.”

Golden State staff were also seen sporting the same pic on tee-shirts throughout the parade and handing them out.

The gesture has been mocked by the team throughout their celebrations by MVP Gabby Williams, Hayes, Nakase and more players.

Despite Reese’s fiery performance throughout the series, folks on social media were living for the trolling while others defended Reese.

“Well if any team can, it’s the team that beat her and her team in the WNBA finals in a Game 7. It was definitely a great series,” one person posted on X.

“Dang, Angel got motion even at the winner’s parade,” another said.

“They are so jealous of Angel Reese and insecure,” someone said.

“Boy, Angel is going to be dealing with that response for awhile,” one person noted.
