The final day at Wentworth ended with Sweden's Alex Noren snagging the BMW PGA Championship title, clinching his second win at the DP World Tour's flagship event, and a $1.53 million payday.

The playoff was a nail-biter. Both men found trouble off the tee on the par-5 18th, with Noren's second shot coming up short of the stream and settling into thick grass.
From there, he clipped a near-perfect chip to three feet and calmly sank the birdie putt. Saddier, meanwhile, left himself 15 feet from the fringe and couldn't convert.
The crowd at Wentworth roared as Noren sealed the win, a moment that capped off a rain-soaked, emotionally charged back nine.
Reflecting on the victory, Noren expressed during the post-round conference, "It was such a tough, emotional back nine. He (Saddier) played very well ... I knew the conditions were going to be tough the last seven holes. It's a weird one because you can't just wait for the rain to come. Hard to focus on the game, as well, because you know it's tough and you don't know how bad it's going to be."
Noren's win came under the guidance of caddie Darren Reynolds, who also looped for him during his 2017 BMW PGA victory.
Here's how the $9 million purse was distributed:
With this win, Noren not only adds a 12th DP World Tour title to his resume but also reaffirms his place among Europe's elite. Though not part of the playing squad, he will join Team Europe at Bethpage Black as a Ryder Cup vice-captain under Luke Donald.
"I'll be heading to New York with the team," Noren confirmed after his Sunday win. "It's going to be a special week, and I'm proud to be part of it."
