"TV tower goes down near the tenth green, showing how strong and fast that storm was, nobody injured and play was stopped about a half hour before it hit giving everyone time to seek shelter," local reporter Joe Nugent said, showing video of the felled tower.
J.T. Poston and Ryan Gerard were tied atop the leaderboard at 10-under as they headed to the 13th tee before the former started pulling away. With three straight birdies, Poston took a three shot lead before both bogeyed No. 16.
Gerard carded another bogey No. 17 and now sits four shots back of the leader heading into the final round of play. Sam Burns sits in third place at seven-under while Wyndham Clark and Tommy Fleetwood are tied for fourth place at six-under.
