At 17, Charlie announced last week that he is verbally committing to play collegiate golf at Florida State University, where he’ll join top-ranked junior player Miles Russell.

The move is significant as Charlie prepares to enter the NIL landscape, where endorsement opportunities could be substantial. Beyond being the son of one of golf’s all-time greats, he’s also emerging as a top prospect — ranked No. 21 in the AJGA and No. 9 in the Class of 2027.

For now, he does not have any NIL deals as he remains a junior in high school. Russell, meanwhile, has partnerships with TaylorMade, Nike, and Liberty National Golf Club, among others. The Seminoles golf program is also outfitted by Nike — a potential natural fit when Woods joins the FSU Class of 2027.
