The Broncos come into this game riding a hot streak at 6-2, clearly finding their footing under coach Sean Payton. Offensively, they’ve been solid, averaging just under 26 points per game and ranking in the top-10 in scoring. Their rushing attack has been powerful, and their defense is doing a good job of limiting big plays and keeping opponents’ scoring in check. Quarterback Bo Nix has been efficient with 15 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions so far this season and has shown improved pocket awareness and decision-making. On the other side Houston is 3-4 so far, but that record masks a defense that is elite—allowing just 14.7 points and 266.9 yards per game. Under head coach DeMeco Ryans, the Texans have become one of the NFL’s most disciplined units. Offensively, though, Houston still has work to do finishing drives and converting in the red zone.
This one has all the makings of a slugfest. The Broncos’ run game and balanced attack will test the Texans’ stingy front and disciplined secondary. If Nix can avoid turnovers and sustain drives, Denver could assert control. But Houston at home knows how to grind it out—and if their offense gets untracked with quarterback C.J. Stroud spreading the ball and mixing in their rookie running back play, they can keep pace. For Houston, a win sends a message that the season is still very much alive; for Denver, a victory cements them as serious contenders in the AFC. Expect a hard-fought game that could come down to which defense forces the crucial mistake.
This is a great NFL matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
