Last season, the Fever returned to the postseason for the first time since 2016, going 20-20 in Clark's first WNBA season. The team will look to push deeper after a first-round loss in 2024.
Indiana made some big moves this offseason, adding DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, and Sophie Cunningham. Suddenly, the Fever looks like a team with the supporting cast needed around Clark and center Aliyah Boston.
Meanwhile, the Sky went 13-27 last year, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2018. It was a rebuilding year as the team tried to figure some things out. Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso proved to be a strong frontcourt pairing, though Reese's issues finishing at the rim could pose an issue.
Now, it's all about finding the right backcourt combination. Is that rookie Hailey Van Lith? Offseason addition Ariel Atkins? Franchise legend Courtney Vandersloot, who returned after winning a title with New York?
Tune in Saturday to catch the start of the 2025 WNBA season for these two teams.
