The 10th edition of the Newsweek Sports MLB Power Rankings brings a lot of the same.

The top 13 remains mostly unchanged, with just two teams flipping spots. Through a little less than three months of the MLB season (including the season opener in Korea), just 11 teams sit above .500, with a whopping 19 teams under .500 entering Wednesday.

The top seven teams appear to be separating themselves from the rest of the pack, while only five teams appear to be out of the playoff race at this point in the year.
That should make for a very interesting trade deadline on July 30. In the meantime, we still have a lot of baseball to play before we get there.

Biggest Risers
San Francisco Giants (+4)
The Giants' rollercoaster season continues. After losing the first four games of the month, they've now won five out of six, and are sitting in the third and final Wild Card spot in the National League.
Pittsburgh Pirates (+3)
The Pirates have won back-to-back series against the Dodgers and Twins, and seem to be revitalized thanks to the stars of their rotation, rookies Paul Skenes and Jared Jones. They're 6-3 to open June.
Cincinnati Reds (+2)
An abysmal May dropped the Reds in these rankings, but they've come back to life in June, going on a seven-game winning streak before losing the series finale to the Cubs on Sunday. If they continue this hot streak, they could shoot up these rankings over the next few weeks.
Biggest Fallers
Tampa Bay Rays (-5)
The Rays got a much-needed walk-off win on Tuesday night. Before that, though, they were swept by the Orioles, which isn't a good sign for their ability to compete in the loaded AL East.
Houston Astros (-2)
Injuries and inconsistent play have haunted the Astros all year long. They've made seven straight ALCS appearances, but that streak is in serious jeopardy as the team struggles to get back to .500.
