The Philadelphia Phillies should be on the hunt for new talent this offseason after their disappointing postseason.
One clear area that the Phillies need to improve is their outfield. Due to this, they are now being linked to one of baseball's top free agents.

Seeing the Phillies being viewed as a possible landing spot for Arozarena is understandable. They need to improve their outfield and could use another impactful hitter. Thus, it would make all the sense in the world if they worked hard to sign Arozarena this offseason.
Signing Arozarena to a five-year contract would come with risk for the Phillies, though. This is because he is entering his age-32 season in 2027. Thus, he could drop off during a long-term deal. Yet, with Philadelphia needing more offense and Arozarena being a star, it could be a risk worth taking.
In 154 games during the 2026 season with the Seattle Mariners, Arozarena posted 26 home runs, 26 stolen bases, and a .281 batting average.
