The New York Yankees have lost another star to the injured list. The Yankees placed three-time All-Star outfielder Cody Bellinger on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain, the team announced on Sunday.
In a corresponding move, the Yankees recalled outfielder Spencer Jones from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
According to the Yankees' injury report, Bellinger injured himself while running out a double during Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. He is expected to undergo testing on Sunday to determine the severity of the injury and timeline for recovery.

Yankees Have Three Key Players on The IL
Bellinger is joining superstars Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton on the injured list, which is bad news for the Yankees' lineup.
Judge has been out since early June with a stress fracture of his first ribs and could be back sometime in August. Meanwhile, Stanton has been sidelined for the majority of the season after suffering a right calf strain in late April. Stanton is also projected to return sometime in August.
The Yankees currently rank second in the American League East with a 59-45 record, sitting 2.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays for the division lead. New York has a series finale against the Phillies on Sunday, which Bellinger will not be available for.
Getting this trio of stars back in the lineup will be crucial for the Yankees as October starts to creep up.
