The Golden State Warriors follow the Nets with +300 odds, followed by the Houston Rockets with +600 odds, the San Antonio Spurs with +800 odds, and the New Orleans Pelicans with +1000 odds to round off the top five.

Butler and the rumors to the Nets have swirled for the last month and a half. Brian Lewis of the New York Post said that Butler could think about free agency next summer, and the Nets could be front runners for him.

"The six-time All-Star is the most accomplished standout on that list not named James, and he likes Brooklyn, according to sources close to the player."

It seems like the Nets are planting their flag on Butler, and at this rate, no one should be surprised if he needs land in Brooklyn. The Nets are the favorites to land the No. 1 pick in next year's NBA Draft. They don't seem too hot on paper right now, but things could be different next summer.

Brooklyn is projected to have $70 million in cap space next summer. Combine that with their draft capital and their ability to trade for star players, and they could be big players for Butler.

Butler's time in Maimi may be winding down, as he has yet to sign an extension with the team. Although that is what he wants, all signs point to Butler being back with the team this upcoming season. However, as for the following season, Butler could be with a new team.

Butler is still among the best players in the NBA, especially when the lights are at their brightest. In his five seasons in Miami, Butler has averaged 21.3 points per game, 6.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.7 steals while shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 30.3 percent from three.

Whether it's his last season in Miami or not, expect great things out of the 35-year-old.
