The NBA world is eagerly awaiting a decision from LeBron James, who's in the midst of a highly-publicized free agency process ahead of his historic 24th NBA season.

James informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he intends to play the 2026-27 season elsewhere a few weeks ago. And as the NBA offseason continues to wear on, The King has still yet to announce a decision.

During an appearance with "The Pat McAfee Show" on Tuesday, James' agent, Rich Paul, asked NBA fans to be patient with his client as he weighs his options.

"Just have a little patience with him. Obviously, it's his choice," Paul said. "This is a very important choice for him and he cannot rush it. I think he's earned the right not to be rushed. It's not a thing where he's toying with people's emotions. ... This man has a very important, layered decision to make across business, across family, across basketball."

Several teams have been reported as frontrunners to land James in free agency, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves. Paul has continuously reiterated that there's "no timetable" for James' ultimate decision.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver recently urged James to announce his decision so the league can finalize its national TV schedule for the upcoming season.
