Victor Wembanyama put together a ridiculous performance on Wednesday night, recording 52 points, 24 rebounds and eight blocks in the San Antonio Spurs' 112-111 win over the visiting Dallas Mavericks.
This performance drew the attention of several prominent figures from around the NBA world, including all-time great center Shaquille O'Neal.
After the Spurs' closely-contested win, O'Neal heaped praise on the 7-foot-4 Frenchman.

"We've never seen a player like him do the things he can do," O'Neal said.
The game before this, Wembanyama had an inefficient 12 points to go along with 11 rebounds in a win over the Utah Jazz.
"That's how you respond when you have a bad game," O'Neal continued. "He came out in the first half, he was focused. He played to his size. ... When you're a great player, you never want to have two bad games in a row."
Wembanyama shot 16/28 from the field and 19/23 from the free-throw line. The reigning Western Conference Finals MVP now averages 29 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game on the season.

Wembanyama and the Spurs will look to maintain their positive momentum into Friday night's NBA Cup matchup against the Sacramento Kings.
