The Golden State Warriors are facing injury concerns this weekend.
Heading into their Friday night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors shockingly ruled out Draymond Green less than an hour before the game tipped off.
As the game played out, the team lost several players to injury, including the veteran big man, Al Horford. As the Warriors prepare for a Sunday night game against the New York Knicks, the team is adding a veteran big man on a temporary deal.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Warriors are bringing on Omer Yurtseven on a 10-day deal.
A Look At The Warriors’ Injury Report

...
The Warriors have nine players listed on their injury report for Sunday’s action against the Knicks.
Some are expected. Jimmy Butler has been out with a torn ACL. Steph Curry is dealing with a knee injury, which currently has him on a 10-day re-evaluation timeline. Moses Moody also missed the Warriors’ last five games with a wrist issue.
When it comes to the new additions, they’ll all miss Sunday’s action. Draymond Green is dealing with a lower-back issue, which caused him to be a late scratch on Friday. He’s going to miss his second game in a row on Sunday.
Al Horford started for the Warriors again on Friday, but he left the game just five minutes in. He was diagnosed with a right soleus strain. The Warriors don’t have a timeline in place for him just yet.
Kristaps Porzingis remains a question mark for the Warriors at this stage. The veteran center has been dealing with multiple setbacks, including an illness. The team will continue to monitor him, and plan to hold him out on Sunday.
Seth Curry, De’Anthony Melton, and Quenten Post are all on the injury report as well. Post is the only one with a 50/50 shot at playing.
Bringing In Omer Yurtseven

...
The 27-year-old Turkish center entered the NBA in 2020. He played in the NCAA at NC State and Georgetown.
Yurtseven’s first taste of NBA action came with the Miami Heat in 2021. He saw the court with the Heat over two seasons. During his NBA rookie effort, Yurtseven appeared in 56 games. He averaged 12.6 minutes, shooting 52%, and averaged 5.3 points, along with 5.3 rebounds.
In year two, he made just two appearances on the Heat’s main roster.
After becoming a free agent in July 2023, Yurtseven signed with the Utah Jazz. He played in 48 games with the Jazz during the 2023-2024 season. The veteran center saw the court for 11.4 minutes per game. He shot 53% from the field, averaging 4.6 points, and 4.3 rebounds per game.
In addition to the NBA, Yurtseven has experience with multiple G League teams. He carries an impressive overseas resume as well, being a two-time Greek Cup winner, Turkish Super Cup winner, and Turkish Super League champion.
