Former Philadelphia Eagles teammates DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick found themselves on opposite sidelines Saturday, and their latest meeting delivered a dramatic finish.
Jackson's Delaware State Hornets erased a 17-point deficit to defeat Vick's Norfolk State Spartans 36-33 at Lincoln Financial Field, completing a thrilling comeback with a game-winning field goal as time expired.
The matchup brought the former NFL stars back to Philadelphia, where they once shared the field as teammates. This time, however, they were competing as head coaches of two historically Black colleges.

For much of the afternoon, it appeared Vick would emerge victorious.
Norfolk State jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the second quarter before Delaware State responded with 10 unanswered points heading into halftime.
The Spartans regained control after the break, eventually building a 33-16 advantage with 5:24 remaining in the third quarter.
But Jackson's Hornets refused to go away.

Quarterback Marqui Adams led the charge, throwing for 243 yards and four touchdowns without an interception. Adams connected with Jaron Kelley for a 5-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter before finding Kyree Benton for a 20-yard score that tied the game at 33 with 7:47 remaining.
Norfolk State had opportunities to regain the lead, but a costly late turnover gave Delaware State the ball deep in Spartans territory.

Delaware State eventually lined up for a 35-yard field goal, which Maatteo Bracalenti converted as time expired to secure the victory.
The win improved Delaware State to 5-4 overall and 1-1 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play, while Norfolk State fell to 4-5 and 0-2 in conference action.
It also marked Jackson's second consecutive victory over Vick, following Delaware State's 27-20 win in last season's matchup.
For Vick, the defeat was particularly frustrating after his team controlled much of the contest.
For Jackson, the comeback delivered another memorable victory over his former teammate in the stadium where both players once made their mark in the NFL.
