Tennessee comes in with two straight wins, including a 41-34 victory at Mississippi State on Sept. 27 that got the Volunteers to 1-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Their lone loss came on Sept. 13, when they lost a lead late in regulation in a 44-41 overtime decision at home to then-No. 6 Georgia. Joey Aguilar leads the offense with 1,459 passing yards and 13 touchdowns with five interceptions while Chris Brazzell II already has 531 receiving yards and seven scores on 31 catches.
Arkansas fired coach Sam Pittman after losing its third straight game, a 56-13 pummeling at the hands of then-No. 22 Notre Dame at home on Sept. 27. Petrino overhauled the defensive coaching staff after being named interim coach, firing defensive coordinator Travis Williams and two other assistants. Quarterback Taylen Green gives the Razorbacks a dual threat, with 1,398 yards and 12 touchdowns through the air and another 441 yards and two scores on the ground. Blake O'Mega comes in with 399 receiving yards and three TDs on 30 catches. Arkansas has won four straight against the Vols, including a 19-14 victory at home last season.
