This should be a fantastic matchup between two of the top teams in college basketball for the SEC title. They split the regular season series at one game apiece with Florida winning 73-43 the first time around, and Tennessee returned the favor by beating the Gators 64-44 on the first of February.

Chaz Lanier established himself as one of the most dynamic players in the NCAA this season in his first year with the Volunteers. As a transfer senior, Lanier averaged 17.9 points per game, and has led his team to the No. 8 overall ranking in the nation. He has scored in the double figures in 16 straight contests and is capable of taking over this game if he gets it going early. Lanier only scored 12 points in the semifinal win over Auburn, making this a bounce back opportunity for the guard.

On the other hand, Walter Clayton Jr. is equally as capable of putting up points in a hurry. He is also scoring over 17 points a night this year and is fresh off a 22-point, 6-assist performance in their 104-82 victory over Alabama. The outcome of the game could be determined by the offensive battle between Clayton Jr. and his counterpart, Lanier.
