Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Ryan Silverfield knows he's coming into his first season in Fayetteville a little under the radar.
The former Memphis coach may not have the name recognition that his colleagues around the SEC do, leading some online to criticize him for a "perceived lack of aura," as the X account for "The Next Round" described it.

Silverfield was asked about his "aura" at SEC Media Days on Wednesday, and he's not letting it bother him.
‘I Got a Hot Wife for a Reason'
Trevor Denton of Huntsville, Alabama's, WAAY asked Silverfield about the "aura" concerns, and after the coach first noted "I don't know what the hell that means," he defended his approach to coaching and, yes, his aura.
"I've got a hot wife for a reason," he said. "I can get down. I can recite Notorious B.I.G. lyrics...I've got enough aura. Enough to find ways to win football games and that's all that matters."
He further detailed his view on "aura" when speaking with Brandon Marcello of CBS Sports.
"No one's ever accused me of having this immense aura," he said. "I don't have a whole lot of fashion. I've always been a blue-collar type guy, and I've always put my hat on that. Some people say, 'Coach, you need to go buy cool shoes because it hits with recruits.' I'd rather be known as a real dude for those that are around me and those in our program. If the media and one or two people don't think I have an aura, so be it."
He also doubled down on previous statements regarding his wife and the importance of winning games.
"I landed a hot wife that's very smart, and I've got two beautiful daughters, and I'm the head coach of an SEC program. So I think I've got enough aura. You know how you show aura? You win football games."
