The No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers will welcome the No. 1 Texas Longhorns for a highly-anticipated SEC clash on Saturday.

While this matchup probably deserves to be played under the lights at Neyland Stadium, it will instead kick off at noon ET.

When speaking to reporters about the upcoming matchup on Monday, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel delivered a direct message to Volunteer fans about this early kickoff time.

“To our fanbase, however you get ready for game time. Whatever you need to be at your best at 12, make sure you’re ready to be at your best at 12. Be a part of the football game for 60 minutes," Heupel said.

Tennessee already has two wins at Neyland Stadium so far this season, notching blowouts over Furman and Kennesaw State. The Volunteers also went on the road to notch a dominant victory over Georgia Tech in Week 2.

This is Tennessee's biggest test of the season thus far, facing off against an undefeated Texas team that recorded a stunning comeback win over the previously No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
