The Miami Hurricanes are enjoying plenty of momentum following Saturday's victory over North Carolina, and the program received another encouraging development on the recruiting trail.
Just one day after the Hurricanes defeated the Tar Heels, five-star wide receiver Brysen Wright announced that Miami is among the three finalists for his commitment.
According to Rivals recruiting insider Hayes Fawcett, Wright has narrowed his choices to Miami, Florida and Texas, with a final decision scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 5.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound standout from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, is ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2028 class by the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Wright is also considered one of the nation's top overall prospects, ranking third nationally and first in Florida according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
His recruitment has attracted attention from some of college football's biggest programs, including Alabama, Ohio State and LSU.
Now, only three schools remain in contention.
Miami appears to be in a strong position heading into Thursday's announcement.
According to previous reporting from On3, the Hurricanes have emerged as a leading contender for Wright, with head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff making the talented receiver a priority.
Wright has also developed a connection with the program through his high school teammate, quarterback Knox Annis, who is already committed to Miami's 2028 recruiting class.
On the field, Wright has established himself as one of the most productive receivers in high school football.
During his sophomore season, he recorded 44 receptions for 962 yards and 10 touchdowns in the regular season.
He has continued that production as a junior, recording 46 receptions for 984 yards and 11 touchdowns through his latest reported statistics.

For Miami, landing Wright would represent another significant recruiting victory as Cristobal continues building a roster capable of competing for national championships.
The Hurricanes have already positioned themselves among the nation's strongest recruiting programs, and adding the top-ranked receiver in the 2028 class would further strengthen that reputation.
Saturday's victory over North Carolina helped Miami maintain its momentum on the field.
Now, with Wright's decision approaching, the Hurricanes have an opportunity to turn that momentum into another major win on the recruiting trail.
