After rushing for over 900 yards with NC State a year ago, Smothers was expected to be a true difference maker for Texas. But unfortunately, injuries have limited his productivity, missing multiples games with a shoulder ailment earlier in the year.

Saturday's Texas-Missouri game will kick off at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday from Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri and can be seen on ESPN.
