"League wide expectation is the 49ers will respond next after the Seahawks acquisition of Quenton Nelson. The NFC West is about to heat up in a big way," Schultz posted on X.

With the Seahawks being the 49ers' biggest threat in the NFC West, it would not be surprising at all if San Francisco looks to make a significant move. The 49ers have some areas on their roster that they should be aiming to improve. Due to this, the 49ers could be a team to watch closely between now and the trade deadline.
One of the 49ers' most obvious trade needs is another wide receiver. With there being so many notable wide receivers in the rumor mill right now, it would make sense if San Francisco landed one soon.
Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see if the 49ers make a trade shortly. With the Seahawks bringing in Nelson, it would not be too surprising if San Francisco did.
