Adam Schefter is the reigning, defending, undisputed newsbreaker in all of the NFL.
The ESPN reporter has dedicated his professional (and much of his personal) life to covering breaking news in the top sports league in North America, and he's held onto that title throughout the years as new challengers emerge from different publications and broadcast networks.
While he is well regarded by fans for his factual reporting and being first to almost every story, there might be a weakness for fans to make fun of Schefter: his setup.

During ESPN's full coverage of NFL free agency, where Schefter is propped up as one of its main characters, the veteran reporter also debuted a new "Thunder Dome"- style broadcast room that has fans howling with laughter at the absurdity of it all.
Behind him, Schefter has a screen showing a map of the United States, with the logos of all 32 NFL teams over their respective cities. Instead of looking like he's reporting on which player the Dallas Cowboys might trade for, Schefter appears to be a commander of some starship planning his next move to blow up an alien planet.
Fans were relentless online, comparing Schefter to YouTube conspiracy theorists with similar setups who rant for hours about ridiculous things to no viewers.
The mood lighting may have looked good in concept, but it hasn't passed the test with viewers online.
Schefter's next breaking news story might be the trade of his setup for something new from IKEA.
