The Chicago Bears notched a closely-contested victory over the Washington Commanders in a primetime matchup on Monday night.
Trailing by two late in the fourth quarter, Caleb Williams and the Bears offense marched down the field to get well within field-goal range. A chunk run from running back D'Andre Swift set up Jake Moody for the game-winning kick, sealing the game with a 25-24 final score.
Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore threw a key block on Swift's run. Moments later, he left Northwest Stadium in an ambulance and spent the night in a local hospital.

Fans praised Moore for his gritty late-game performance.
"I would like to take this moment to apologize to DJ Moore for the way I talked about him after the lions game. Being hurt to the point you don’t travel home and go to the hospital yet you’re blocking 15 yards downfield on the final play of the game. You do have that dog in you," one fan wrote.
"I never wanna see any talk anymore about how DJ Moore is lazy and doesn’t care about football and being a Chicago Bear," another added.
"DJ Moore spent the night in D.C. to receive extra medical attention. Late in the game, despite injuries, Moore was downfield blocking his butt off," another said.
