The Chicago Bears will face the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on "Monday Night Football." It would be a huge win for the 5-2 Bears to beat the Seahawks, who are coming off a big win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chicago was worried about a couple of their offensive targets heading into Monday night's contest, though.

Tight end Colston Loveland was listed with a neck injury on Thursday's estimated injury report, which coach Ben Johnson said he hoped was a "minor thing." He was limited on Friday, then he was listed as a full participant on Saturday. On the Saturday injury report, Loveland had no injury designation for Monday—the best news the Bears could've gotten.

Through seven games, Loveland ranks third in receiving yards (244 yards) on 26 receptions. He's scored two touchdowns.

The Bears did have bad news on their injury report, though, as running back Kyle Monangai will miss his fourth straight game as he deals with a turf toe and thumb injury. He didn't practice all week, so it wasn't a surprise that Monangai was ruled out again.

Monangai's injuries have caused a bigger problem than the team originally expected, though. Johnson said back on Oct. 16 that the team didn't see the need to place him on the injured reserve list, which would have required Monangai to miss at least four games.

"It wasn't one of those things we felt like we needed to put him on IR for," Johnson said, via ESPN. "So, it's still week to week and as far as I know, he's trending in the right direction."

Even though Monangai's only played in four games this season, he's posted the second-most rushing yards on the team (324) on 60 carries. He's scored three touchdowns.

Monangai's return is highly-anticipated for the Bears as he's popped up as a star running back this season. Maybe he'll be available in Week 9 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or the Bears will rest him until after the Week 10 bye.
